CALGARY's leader in DOMESTIC VIOLENCE prevention & Intervention...

Alberta has one of the highest rates of domestic violence in Canada. In Calgary, police receive more than 18,000 domestic conflict calls per year and one in five of them involve some form of physical violence.

The Calgary Domestic Violence Collective is a group of close to 60 community partners that provides a coordinated response to domestic and sexual violence prevention and intervention.

We are committed to ending domestic violence through collaborative, coordinated intervention and prevention strategies. We strongly believe that increasing public awareness, providing education and working to improve legislation can assist in the fight against domestic violence.
